About Todd
Todd Drake was elected to his first term in the Albany County Legislature in November 2015 to represent the 19th District. Todd is one of the few members in County government that owns and operates multiple businesses – a critical perspective he brings to public service every day.
Todd is a staunch advocate for protecting homeowners and taxpayers and protecting the Mohawk River shoreline in his district. Todd was Co-Chair of the Albany County Legislature’s Economic Development Task Force, and he will continue to lead on ways to improve the business climate and economic development efforts in the Capital District.
His district includes the Boght Corners, Forts Ferry, Dutch Meadows and Canterbury Crossing neighborhoods in the 12110 and 12047 ZIP codes, comprising the northern tip of Latham and Colonie along the Mohawk River. Todd resides in Latham, and is the proud father of four children raised in the North Colonie School District.
