On Anti-Tesla Protests in Colonie

The “Sanctuary City” policies of Albany struck again this week as a knife-wielding illegal immigrant was arrested following a dangerous confrontation with U.S. Attorney John A. Sarcone III. If federal law enforcement officials aren’t safe walking the streets of Albany, who is? And if this isn’t a wake-up call for City Hall, what is?

The fact that this perp was even in our community is another reminder of Mayor Kathy Sheehan and other local Democrats’ willingness to put illegals first, and law-abiding citizens last. The City has seen cases of murder, rape and other violent crime as a direct result of this radical pro-illegal immigrant agenda.

I renew my calls for the Mayor to rescind her 2017 Executive Order designating Albany a Sanctuary City, and I urge Albany PD and other local law enforcement to cooperate with the federal government on deporting violent criminals in our country illegally.
